Held in the original Forge at Staunton Harold, Ferrer's Centre.

There will be an introduction to Blacksmithing and the Forge including learning about the tools of the trade. We will focus on using traditional techniques and of course you will have an opportunity to use the forge and make sparks fly!

Our courses are based around traditional ornamental forging. You will get to make an item such as a poker, wall sconce or hanging basket bracket which will be yours to take home.

​Tea/coffee will be provided.

Available all year, 7 days a week.

All courses must be pre-booked.

Safety Notice

Over 18 years only.

Suitable clothes must be worn including long trousers and sleeves.

Sensible footwear preferably steel toe cap boots.

Due to the high cost of insurance, attendees must take responsibility for their own liability.
